We've included here some of the questions we often receive which, hopefully, will answer some of your questions. Please feel free to contact us with any further inquiries.

- How much does it cost to live at Oakview? Each resident receives an initial assessment prior to moving in. Rates at Oakview are based on the level of care required and will increase or decrease as individual needs change. All utilities with the exception of phone are included in the monthly fees.
- Do the rooms come furnished? At Oakview we prefer that each resident create “a home of their own.” Residents bring in their own furnishings and personal belongings. Family photos can be hung on the walls and you can bring along your favorite chair.
- What about my medication? Oakview nursing staff can obtain and set up all of your medications. Under their direction, the Direct Care Staff will administer them to you, per your Dr’s orders.
- What happens if I need assistance during the night? Oakview is staffed by trained care givers 24 hours a day 7 seven days a week. Each resident receives a pendant that they can use to call a staff person for assistance. We have a registered nurse on call at all times if your situation requires medical advice. In addition, hourly checks can be arranged if needed.
- How many people live at Oakview? Each of our buildings house ten residents. Our suites average 340 square feet and include a private bathroom. Residents also have access to all public areas, including a sunroom, living room with a fireplace and an outside gazebo for entertaining family and friends.
- Do you provide activities? Oakview prides itself on the variety of activities offered to residents. From daily exercise groups to trips out to the park for a picnic, each day has something for everyone to enjoy. Bingo, board games, trivia, shopping trips, movies, live music and ice cream socials all show up often on the monthly calendar.
- How will I know if Oakview can meet my special needs? To ensure that each residents needs are met our Registered Nurse will complete an assessment and draw up a care plan that will include services that Oakview Staff can provide as well as any extra services that may need to be contracted .
- How will I get to my medical appointments? Oakview will transport you to local medical appointments. We also work with local volunteer drivers as needed.
